Siana Gold Project - Tailings Storage Facility

Through its Philippines subsidiary Greenstone Resources, Red 5 is developing the Siana Gold Mine in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. The project includes the development of an open pit mine, which will be transitioned to an underground mine. They were ordered by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to construct a new high-density polyethylene (HDPE) lined tailings facility. Infratex Environmental Services, Inc. supplied and installed the specified premium grade of HDPE Liner material and performed all seam welding testing to stringent Quality Assurance Standards required by Greenstone Resources.
 

Construction activities have progressed well, with sign-off from Knight Piésold for the completion of HDPE TSF5 especially for the Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing. This project was completed and delivered by IESI to the client on 04 February 2015.
